Wounded heroes protest at Finance Ministry
A group of wounded soldiers was alleged to have marched to the Ministry of Finance and Planning, protesting failure to handle their welfare.
According to a source whose name is withheld, the soldiers block entrance to the Ministry as they gather at the gate wanting to enter the ministry compound.
“The wounded soldiers have barricaded the entrance to the ministry of finance.”
The source added that after the soldiers arrived, there was no movement as they were harsh and annoyed at the gate, at which they could not allow either exit or entrance to the ministry.
“We cannot leave the ministry for over an hour now,” the source said.
Another said that the soldiers were shouting demanding on the minister to clear some of their welfare money that are delaying.
The source added that the soldiers expressed dissatisfaction claiming that they are neglected in the country the lack necessary services.
However, when contacted by City Review for comment, Simon Ngor, the spokesperson of the Ministry, said unaware of any protests from wounded heroes.
