Tristar donates $250,000 to SSFA for coaches’ payment

The South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) and Tristar renewed their partnership to fund football in South Sudan with the latter donating $250,000 for country’s sports.

“Tristar presented a generous contribution of USD 250,000 to Gen. Augustino Maduot Parek, President of the SSFA. Tristar’s unwavering support for the SSFA includes covering the salaries of the national team coach and physical trainer and providing team kit branding,” stated the Tristar Country Manager, Mr. Ravneesh Aujla, on Friday at SSFA headquarters in Juba.

He reaffirmed that Tristar is committed to continue making a positive effect in South Sudan through collaboration with the SSFA and the larger community.

Tristar has been a staunch sponsor of the Bright Stars since 2019, Mr Aujla said.

He stated that his company thinks that sports, particularly football, have the capacity to unite people.

“Tristar remains dedicated to working hand in hand with the SSFA and the wider community, continuing to make a positive impact in South Sudan.”

President of the SSFA, Gen. Augustino Maduot, thanked Tristar for their firm support over the last five years.

He said the SSFA leadership recognized Tristar’s significant influence, particularly in obtaining a foreign coach for the National Team, which has resulted in exceptional outcomes.

“We would like to express our sincere thanks to Tristar for their continuous support, which has played a big role in the growth and development of football in South Sudan,” Maduot said.
