Top Chelsea target robbed at gunpoint
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was on Monday morning robbed at gunpoint.
The Barcelona forward who is on the radar of two-time European champions – Chelsea, was in the presence of his family, at his home in the municipality of Castelldefels, when the incident happened in the early hours of Monday morning.
He was robbed by four hooded gunmen.
The assailants, El Pais reported, made their way into the footballer’s home through the garden. One inside, they pointed guns at Aubameyang, beating him in the process while threatening his wife – Alysha Behague.
The robbers later fled in white audio. Police reports said that they escaped with an unknown amount of cash and jewellery.
Aubameyang was an unused substitute in Barca’s 4-0 win over Valladolid.
