The COVID-19 have finally subsided, having taken a swathe across the continents – shattering livelihoods and families in the past two years.

But for Pastor Geri Samuel Geri of the House of Prayer for All Nation Church, the bug is merely a mythical creation used by some “malicious powers to control the minds of the masses and achieve their selfish interests”.

In an exclusive interview with The City Review, the self-proclaimed prophet claims that the virus was developed to destroy humans. In this case, South Sudanese must pray to God for their safety.

“The devil claimed that there is a sickness in the world and the sickness is called coronavirus. Listen carefully, there is no sickness, but it is only the plan of the devil to make people put vaccines on their bodies and then they control them,” he says.

For Geri, millions reported to have succumbed to the virus worldwide died as a result of natural course and such is in line with the Biblical teachings he relies on for the message that he intends to use to inspire the people.

“Before corona people used to die in hospitals and when it (corona) came it was exaggerated that the virus was killing many people,” he claimed.

“Once your day has come for leaving the world (death) there is no way you can add even one minute; what people have to do is to fear God and later enjoy everlasting life,” he adds.

The 40-year-old is a sworn opponent of the on the COVID-19 jab who believes that anyone taking the prick is doomed.

“My message to the government and whole world is that people should stop taking vaccine into their bodies because the vaccine will never leave them it is going to destroy them.’’

It is on this message that he draws the purpose of his calling: passing the message of repentance and urging the people to avoid the vaccine.

“I am doing the will of God the one who created us, those who will listen will be saved,” he says.

“The people of South Sudan all of them not only South Sudan but the whole world has to give their life to God and those who refuse to give their life to God the Devil is taking them,” he adds.

He claims that the outsiders he failed to mention are using African leaders to implement their plans in various countries.

As of yesterday, the World Health Organisation (WHO) estimated that over 600 million cases of COVID-19 have been noted since the outbreak in Chinese city of Wuhan in early 2020. About 6.5 million people have died.

However, the WHO and other affiliated health agencies have debunked strong views on COVID-19 infections and the jab as such held by the cleric.

For instance, the agency rubbished claims that the virus was a creation of humans to fight the human race. As of now, vaccines such as Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson among others have been cleared for administration.
