The South Sudan United Front/Army (SSUF/A) led by Gen. Paul Malong has submitted the list of its representatives to CTSAMVM.

Malong also ‘confirmed the location’ of its forces.

This is in regard to the implementation of the CTSAMVM meeting held on June 30, 2022, in Rome for the inclusion of SSOMA representatives into the ceasefire monitoring body.

The group is expected to start its participation in the CTSAMVM activities next week.

Col. Philip Kuol Nguot, SSUF/A spokesperson said that SSUF/A and Real SPLM are expected in the country for the integration into CTSAMVM bodies by August 15, 2022.

This, Nguot said, is in conformity with the declarations of Rome Talks which is geared at enhancing the cessation of hostilities.

President Salva Kiir on Thursday, august 4 called on holdout groups of Thomas Cirilo of the National Salvation Front (NAS) and Pagan Amum of Real SPLM, to return to the country and participate in transitioning the country to democracy.
