Lady Kola bailed out after spending night behind bars

South Sudan’s singer Lady Kola has been released after spending nearly two days in custody following her detention on Thursday evening.
Kola was jailed when a Juba-based lawyer Josephine Adhet filed a case against her for her song “Little Girls.”
Her song was understood to be directed at several female artists whom she beefs with before the release of the track.
“Yes, we are at the police station, but we are just minutes away from leaving the detention facility; she is already out although some of things will be done later,” Lucky O’ner, executive member of the South Sudan Artists’ Union, revealed to The City Review.
According to Adhet, Lady Kola, Lady Kola’s song title, “Little Girls,” was explicit and immoral.
