Macron has finally delivered jerseys for the men’s national football team, six month after the Italian kit manufacturers and South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) inked a deal.

In December 2021, Macron announced in Italy that they put pen to paper a deal with highly guarded detail.

But after months of waiting, the uniforms plus unknown number of replica jerseys and balls, were finally delivered at the SSFA offices just a day before Bright Stars played the Gambia in the AFCON Qualifier.

Bright Stars will play Gambia away in Senegal on Saturday, June 4.

SSFA president Gen. Augustino Maduot appealed to fans to support the team by purchasing replicas.

The jerseys come in three main colours – red, dark green and white.

“The replica jerseys of the national team are accessible to football lovers across the country,” Maduot said.

The shirts sell at SSP15, 000 and SSP20, 000 at wholesale and retail rates.
