“That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, of the Father, and Christ. In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Col.2.2 -3.

The treasure house of truth has been forgotten in our times. No one seems to care where the truth resides. Wisdom and knowledge have been placed aside and many ran ahead of quick-fix methods in all they pursued. No one bothers about following the great highway of life, where Jesus is the genuine path.

The above opening scripture talks of how our hearts should be comforted and be in love since there is a full assurance of understanding and acknowledging the mystery of Father and Christ, in whom are hidden all treasures of wisdom and knowledge. God is talking to the people of Colossians and us today too on how we should be comforted in whatever trouble we find ourselves in.

In addition, he shows us how we should continue walking in love, knowing that we acknowledge God the Father and Christ Jesus, in whom are find all treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Walking in comfort amid troubles and love acknowledges the mystery of God and shows how you are a person of understanding. For in Christ Jesus are all treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Therefore, as believers, let’s constantly walk in comfort amid turbulence and problems life brings; walking in love amongst others knowing that life in God is the best and that knowledge and wisdom are known.

Prayer of salvation: Lord, thank you for dying on the cross of Calvary for my sin today. I acknowledge you as the Lord of my life. I reject the devil and his dwelling place. I believe and trust in you now for my eternal safety in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

If you have prayed this prayer, we believe you are saved. Now find a Bible-believing church and grow your faith in Him alone.
